Ah, the Gods of Grunge. As much of a cliche that the moniker became, I like the sound of it. And while I resisted its early seductions, one I heard NEVERMIND and then TEN, I was hooked. Gave me a different dose of the Hard Rock I swooned over in jr. high/at the High.
Pat Smear played with Kurt, et al., that year he blew his brains out. He's also in the Unplugged set.
I was supposed to see them at lollapalooza the year he killed himself. Instead, Rose and I were subjected to an awful set by the Smashing Pumpkins in Dallas.
Completed a PJ iPod mix Sat. Now to Nirvana...............
